Vision Expo

Presented by The Vision Council and RX Global, Vision Expo is the complete event for the optical industry and professionals, where eyecare meets eyewear, and education, fashion and innovation mingle. Held twice a year, Vision Expo East and Vision Expo West are trade-only conferences and exhibitions designed to connect the vision community and promote industry growth.  In the Vision Expo Exhibit Hall, eyecare providers can discover trends, interact with new technologies and access innovative products and services. More industry professionals make their buying decisions at Vision Expo than at any other annual industry event in North America. The Vision Expo education program is driven by the profession, offering content of the highest quality and relevance to enhance overall patient care.

Revenue from Vision Expo supports The Vision Council’s mission to promote growth in the vision industry through education, advocacy, research, consumer outreach, strategic relationship building and industry forums.

Show Committee

The Vision Council’s Show Committee, in conjunction with RX, is responsible for establishing and directing the long-term strategic goals and objectives for the Vision Expo portfolio of shows as well as instituting show policies and procedures. The Show Committee reports to The Vision Council Board of Directors through the executive committee and provides recommendations on issues such as acquisitions, venue changes, and exhibit fees.

Each division of The Vision Council has delegates serving on the Show Committee representing the opinions of division members and providing information flow back to the division.  Show Committee member companies must participate in one Vision Expo each year.
